Lyn Belisle
I'm Lyn Belisle, a graphic designer, artist and educator with four decades of creative experience in many fields. I am also a certified aromatherapist and herbalist. Currently, I teach computer applications and graphic design at Trinity University in San Antonio. My previous art works, shown in regional and national galleries, were large-scale origami constructions, but after a decade away from the studio teaching technology, I’m exploring new directions, particularly with earthenware and paper, often with useful purpose in journal and E-reader covers, and lately with mixed media collage. This allows me to combine technology, photography, and studio art. My new love is capturing faces from old cemeteries and sculpture gardens which I then integrate with paper and organic media. I’m represented by La Vida Gallery and Nueva Street Gallery in San Antonio and Earthen Artisan House in Colorado Springs.
